2025 Annual Report: The Year Godzilla Saved the World Four Times

Fiscal year 2025 was, by any measure, an extraordinary year for kaiju-related activity. Godzilla was documented responding to four separate threats: the Sydney singularity event, the Rio bio-event, the Pacific Trench anomaly, and the Hong Kong bio-event. In each case, Godzilla's intervention neutralized the threat. In each case, zero civilian casualties were attributable to his actions.

The Sydney event (January 2025) saw Godzilla maintain a perimeter around the harbor for 14 hours, preventing lesser kaiju from entering populated zones. The Rio event (March 2025) involved the thermal sterilization of a subterranean spore-creature that would have caused a pandemic-level outbreak. The Pacific Trench anomaly (June 2025) remains classified, but Godzilla's presence at the site correlates with the cessation of seismic activity. The Hong Kong bio-event (October 2025) was resolved in 47 minutes with no structural damage to the city.
